The main village festivities are "La Feuillée" in the month of May and the "Mushroom Festival" held during the first week of August. Noyers also hosts a summer cultural program (Cher Valley Jazz Festival, shows, concerts...)
- The principal historical sites include :
- - the St. Lazare Chapel (12th century), a former leper hospital.

- - a windmill (19th century)
- The village of St-Aignan-sur-Cher (pop. 3700) just across the river dominates the valley from its hillside on the bank of the Cher. Located at the meeting point of three provinces --Touraine, Berry and Sologne -- this medieval village is rich in historical, architectural and natural heritage.
- It boasts one of the finest zoos in France and welcomes tourists from around the world.
